Dr. Cormier is a native of South Louisiana, where he graduated from St Thomas More High School in Lafayette, La. A former LSU basketball player and graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, he went on to receive his medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
